About Me
As a professional pilot for a major international charter airline, I have had the opportunity to travel across the world pursuing the interest as a stock photographer, concentrating on landscapes.
Being a winner of the Ballentyne's "Islander" competition, winning a commission for the front cover and article in the "Scotland on Sunday" magazine and further winning the Fuji Velvia "Rose" competition plus also been successful in other photographic competitions, including an exhibition of prints of the "Four Corners" USA at the Destinations Travel Show held in London each year.I have been been one of thirty finalists in the Wanderlust/Daily Telegraph/Independent Travel Photography competition on two occasions. Work for Getty Images, the International Photo Library, where photos been featured in magazines, book covers and advertising.
My travelling has been extensively through Scotland and the UK and also to other parts of the world, especially USA, Hawaii and the Rocky Mts., where I have covered many of the National Parks Of the USA. My collection of stock photos in addition features Australia, New Zealand, Thailand ,Brazil and Argentina.
